Are you navigating a dispute or potential legal proceedings? If so, it’s likely you’re experiencing some challenging life circumstances and need of some specialist support. 

Legal proceedings can be intimidating, disorienting and overwhelming, whether you are a direct party to the dispute or giving evidence on behalf of one of the parties. The lawyers involved may not be able to provide the personal support you need and you don’t feel able to ask them all of the questions you have. Your usual support network could be unavailable as a result of you being told not to speak to anyone about the proceedings. And professional support services on offer may not be well-informed about the legal process and unable to provide the tailored support you’re looking for.

My combination of legal and wellbeing experience, including an in-depth understanding of trauma and the nervous system, means I offer a practical, informed and safe holding space from which to explore and meet your needs.

How can I support you?

Navigating legal proceedings: I offer skilled wellbeing support from a legally informed perspective. I have  experience in workplace disputes, disciplinary proceedings, criminal proceedings, sensitive subject matter investigations, civil litigation, mediation, domestic abuse and relational disputes. 

Giving evidence: I offer specific support for:

  • the process of giving evidence
  • regulating and resourcing yourself to understand the process and what you can expect to encounter
  • de-briefing following your evidence-giving
  • enabling you to give your best evidence from a place of empowerment rather than intimidation
  • navigating the potential (dis)stress that can result from involvement in legal proceedings
  • providing a container for all that may arise, both externally and internally, as a result of your experiences

I have particular experience in supporting those who have experienced trauma and/or who live with (C)PTSD and PTSD – whether or not these are directly relevant to the dispute you are navigating, we can find ways to regulate your nervous system and create safe spaces for you in the midst of all that you are experiencing.
